Hand-written Claude Code sub-agents duplicate each other and go stale
A sub-agent is a specialised Claude Code assistant with its own instructions — in practice, a long prompt file. Once you have three of them, all three need the same paragraph about React, so you paste it into all three. Then React changes, and you update one.
Agents Inc breaks that expertise into atomic skills instead and compiles them into sub-agents. The React knowledge exists once; recompile, and every sub-agent built from it is rewritten.

The approach
A skill is one atomic, reusable unit — one library or one practice: React, Tailwind, Zod, Vitest, Hono. You choose the ones matching the stack you actually use, and the CLI compiles them into sub-agents. Change a skill, recompile, and every sub-agent using it picks up the change. A stack is a named selection you can start from, save and share.

How it works
01 · Choose
Open the editor and click a stack, or pick skills yourself. The whole catalogue is on one screen.
02 · Copy
Press Install. The editor hands you one command carrying everything you selected.
03 · Run
Run it in your project. The CLI installs the skills and compiles one sub-agent per role you kept.
Prefer the terminal? npx agents-inc init runs the same selection as a wizard, and ends at the same install. The browser cannot write to your disk, so step three is the CLI either way.
Write your own
A skill is two files in a directory — SKILL.md and metadata.yaml — so anything the catalogue does not cover, you can add. Drop one into .claude/skills/ and the CLI finds it on the next compile, or start from a working copy with eject skills. The catalogue itself is a public repository, so a skill you write for yourself is one pull request from being everyone else's.
Free and open source
Agents Inc is MIT licensed and free to use. The CLI and the skill catalogue are both public repositories — read them, fork them, or open a pull request.
